The Big Bang Job - Leverage Big Bang Challenge

Sorry these are a little late - I may be slightly of the brain dead this week *face palm*

I come with the instructions of how to post - just in time for the first one of you :) - and it's a much simplier post than last year's ;)

Firstly, Authors Posting Guidelines

Authors, when posting your fics (aka when posting your 'masterpost' to the comm with thei links to your fic) your subject line should read as follows:

Title of story: Author/s: Genre+Pairings: Rating

And you should use the following header:

Extra notes: if it has multiple parts, much &hearts if you link to the parts separately in the masterpost and link the parts together (so a link to part two at the end of part one etc) - I know a lot of people do that anyway, but not everyone does and it's one of those things that makes it much easier to read a fic.

There's no posting guidelines for you :p - your art will be linked to by your authors, but where possible please provide a short header on your art post (basic: made for thebigbangjob, for this fic by this author, the fic can be found here - include any warnings and a rating as necessary.)

IF YOU HAVEN'T YET SUBMITTED YOUR FINAL DRAFT TIME IS RUNNING OUT.

Authors - there are two drafts left to come in (I know one may be late - no word on the other)

Artists - there are three of you who have not yet submitted your art. Please get it in ASAP

IF WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR ART OR FIC BY TOMORROW (CIRCA 8PM GMT), OR HAD WORD THAT IT WILL BE COMING, WE WILL BE CHASING YOU UP.

Posting dates will be sorted once we have all of the drafts, of both art and fics. With that in mind, there may be a slight delay in the start of posting.

Everyone who has sent in art or fics, you are all awesome, as are the art and stories you have produced.

All of the emails have been sent (there were two gliches - one because I missed a letter out of an email address - one because gmail is evil) - If there are any other problems, let us know.

ALL ARTISTS HAVE NOW STAKED THEIR CLIAMS - EMAILS WILL GO OUT IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS PAIRING Y'ALL UP, SO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THEM ;)

It's that time. Behind the cut you will find the summaries for the ten drafts that have been submitted. Claiming is open until the 4th September, but if all of the stories have been claimed before that, we'll close the post sooner and you'll get your assignments sooner as well.

In a comment please list your 3 choices, and we will assign you one of them. Also, please let us know if you are willing to do art for more than one story.

While there are ten artists signed up, and ten eleven (gmail ate one) stories to claim, no one is going to complain about having two artists to work with (authors - if this happens, every story will have two artists, even if it's just me doing extra art for some of you ;))

WE HAVE SEVEN DRAFTS SO FAR - which is awesome - congrats to everyone who has submitted so far - that's over three times as many as we had last year, so it's great :D

There are a few people we haven't heard from - and a few more of you who have extensions. Hopefully it's going ok for you guys, but again, don't be afraid to drop us a line.


If you know of anywhere to do so, please pimp out the artist sign ups - we still only have a small number - I will be doing a few last minute pimps friday night to see if we can get some more artists on board.

In the meantime, be aware that the summaries will be going up for claiming on the 28th August. No drafts will be accepted once that post is live.

So, the rough draft deadline is fast approaching, I hope everything is going well for you all. And if you've already finished, well done you! This is just the post you need to be seeing now ;)

How to turn you rough draft in:

1. Save your fic as a .doc, .rtf or .txt file (if this isn't possible for you for whatever reason, please email us asap). When saving it, please name it: Rough draft [Title] by [Author].

2. In a new email, do the following:
- To: leverage.bb.mods@googlemail.com
- Subject line of the email must be: Rough draft - [author name]
- Attach the document

3. The body of the email must contain the following:
Author/s
Summary (this is the summary that will be used for artist claiming, so make sure you're happy with it)
Warnings
Word Count
Pairings and Genre - if your fic is a crossover/fusion, note with what (i.e The Hunger Games/Tangled/Barney)

4. Remember, your rough draft must be at least 12,000 words (plus an outline for what remains to be written) - the final draft has to be at least 15,000 words.


All rough drafts must make it into the moddly inbox by the end of the 21st August. If you need a little more time, or think you might not quite get it in by then, drop us a comment on here (comments to this post are screened).

If you need to drop out, you can comment here as well, but hopefully that won't be too many of you.


And finally, if you guys could pimp the big bang around, we are still in need of artists. I willl be doing some pimping when I can, but any help you guys can offer would be much appreciated.
