Add in a couple of other less than encouraging experiences (including last year's fiasco of being only one of two fics submitted and NO ONE out of over a dozen artists wanting to do art for it), and bigbangs pretty much make me psychotic. The only reason I'm likely to continue to participate in this one at all is the tradition of being able to write something with my kid.

Date: 2011-11-03 03:58 pm (UTC)It sucks when fics don't get much feedback - let me just say that this fic DESERVES much more than it's got. I wouldn't take it personally, my big bang fic didn't get a lot of feedback either.
Next year, next year we'll make sure to get everyone all hyped up about the challenge. *nods*
But yes, this fic was wonderful and I loved how the fandom crossovers worked with Hardison and Sterling/Crowley and the Winchesters. (And Faith, even though I'm not familiar with the show.)

Date: 2011-11-27 12:27 am (UTC)This is all part of a larger 'verse - I'm a little behind on updating it, but the master list as of last spring is here. (http://theroadhouse.dreamwidth.org/15889.html) And as you can see - "The You're Welcome Job" is indeed part of this 'verse.
If you want to read more about Eliot's demonic enhancements, I've gone into them in more detail here (http://telaryn.livejournal.com/780061.html) and here (http://telaryn.livejournal.com/780446.html).
Thank you so much for reading and commenting in such glorious detail!
