Well this is a little disppointing

We have 7 artists and 23 authors signed up, but there has only been one fic submitted and we've had four (4) fics submitted and we're down to the last handful of hours before the cut off for BigBang submissions. Thank you to the authors who have submited their fic and to the couple who've informed us that they're having to drop out.

Please don't worry about how bad your rough draft is, it's rough, it's meant to be full of grammatical errors and misplaced characterisations eand so on. That's what the month for beta-ing is for. If you're worried about how bad your fic seems and are ashamed of how rough it is and don't want to submit it for those (or similar) reasons, then don't worry. None of the mods are going to actuall read this version, just check the word count and flick through it to make sure there's no random copy & pasted bits of text to bulk out your word count (not that we think anyone of you would do that, but to make it fair, we have to). No one apart from you and your beta(s) is going to see what you submit to us.

Please email us your fic by MIDNIGHT tonight. So long as it's 23:59:59 or earlier wherever you are in the world when you send your fic in, it'll (most likely) be accepted.

Hi,
I have been desperately trying to finish my fic (there is still some hope!) I am currently at 56,750 words but haven't managed to tie off the ending. It needs a round off. If by any chance I didn't get it finished before that time can I still submit it today as I'm well past the word limit and in the final throes even if I have to write the actual ending after today?

So long as you have a plan (as detailed as possible) for the ending and you've only got that planned bit to write, send it on in :)

I really hate having to drop out, I was really looking forward to actually doing a big bang, but at the moment, I cannot see my screen well enough to type or even write on paper. (Just had eye surgery) I"m gonna get my fic done anyway, and hopefully i'll turn it or a new one in next big bang. Good luck to all of you!
