No worries about reply time, my RL has been ridiculous for the past three weeks. I'm actually up to 17.5k now. September just ended up being WAY busier than I expected it to be, I got a part in a play which I worked on top of a full time job, but it's over now so I might even make the deadline no problem. I'm typing even now. I'm fairly certain I can have a VERY rough draft done for the deadline. By the 1st it should be fairly complete, I've just got the climactic final scene to write.
