Rough Draft Submissions

Before going into the details of how to submit your drafts, firstly I have to say a big thank you to you all. All but 4 authors have been in touch to let me know how they're doing, and considering that's out of 28, it is all kinds of amazing.

Anyone who is struggling, or thinks they might need a little bit of an extension, please let me know. I promise I don't bite, and extensions can be given if required, just give me a poke and I will get back to you ASAP.

OK folks, now to the admin side of this post, there's a week left until the rough draft deadline (26th February), so it's time to let you know how to submit your drafts.

Please email your drafts, as doc, rtf or text format to - leverage.bb.mods@googlemail.com

In the subject line of your email should look something like this:
, , rough draft

In the body of the email please list your word count, and confirm that you have had contact with your artist. And that's all we need :)

For those of you wondering, we will not be looking at your drafts. The only reason we ask for you to send them to us is so that we know that you are close to finishing, and that you will reach word count.

So the deadline is the 26th which is a SUnday, but it is the first day of a three day weekend for me. Could I have an extension to Tuesday, the 28th? That way I can use my actual free time, and not fret over squeezing in some free time here and there. My draft is currently at 5,700 words so it won't be a huge deal. But it'd be nice to make use of my long weekend!

I'm going to have the draft wordcount done in time, I have no doubt about that, but this fic is turning out longer than I expected and I am forming mild concerns about the rest...if I knuckle down though, all should be well (hopefully...)

Could I possibly have an extension to the 28th for one of my fics? I have one fic to the word count and it'll be sent tomorrow, but the other got swept out of the way by a minor emergency this afternoon. I will be adding as much as I can tomorrow, but I don't know that I'll be able to make it to 8000 by the time I have to stop.

You can have an extension to the 1st March to get the word count :) - I hope nothing else comes up before then *crosses fingers for you*

awwww, but she must be all cute and lop-sided (that is a common issue with dogs - espec when trying to take a picture of one and getting punced on by another)

Knowing that I only have to have 8K done is nice. I will get it all done - I know that. The question is - what time on the 26th do we need to have it in? Just by midnight or when it is the 26th some time in the world?

If it's still the 26th somewhere in the world you're good (but as I work early monday - I won't be checking until late on the 27th UK time, so anytime before I check for the final count ;))
