Odd and slightly unfortunate news

For those of you looking for the srtist claim post, it isn't up yet. I know it's supposed to have been up on the 4th, but we have a bit of a problem. As the artists have been told by weaselett, we have only had 2 rough drafts submitted, but over 20 artists signed up. Due to this we are having to re-work the whole artist side of things, as doing it the normal way would result in a majority of artists unable to join in, despite signing up, and that's even if we doubled up on artists like we did last year.

So, watch this space and we'll try to come up with something asap.

If you're not already taking suggestions, maybe this is something we can figure out as a group rather than just putting the burden entirely on you and weaselett? Friends lock and filter if you like so as to preserve some of the surprise factor, but this is an unusual situation - maybe the solution needs to be unusual as well?

The poll is up now and as charlies_dragon mentioned there's a 'other suggestion' option - any ideas you guys have will be awesome and very helpful, especially any unusual ones ;) - hopefully what ever happens everyone involved will enjoy it :)

Thanks for the quick reply & the offer for help. I think weaselett & I have come up with the rough outlines of a plan, but it's still rather open to suggestions from the group.

There should be a poll being posted by her soon in regards to our idea for a solution and there's the "other suggestion, please leave them in the comments" option, so any ideas should be left in the comments to that post :)
