I'm kind of in the same boat as Vakair. I don't think it will be completely finished by October 1st but I have a very detailed outline and I'm at 15,000 words right now. I've also been getting it betaed as I go instead of waiting for the end, so that's been stretching out the process a little. I'll definitely submit what I have on the 1st though and you can judge for yourselves.
